🐾 Pet of the Week - River the Labradoodle

Morning mission: secure cheese, sunshine, and smiles from strangers. River the Labradoodle has it sorted. 🐶🌞🧀
A nearly 4-year-old bundle of fluff, River lives with her hooman Fiona and loves apples, cheese, and beach runs. She’s happiest trotting through the city with her hooman, flashing smiles at strangers (and getting them right back). Here she is heading to Midnight Espresso for a well-earned coffee stroll. Happy days!
Stay tuned for our next adorable pet star!
💕 Extra Sprinkles – 🍷Let’s Put Wellington’s Front of House Stars on the Map!
Wellington’s food scene is 🔥 — and it’s not just the chefs behind the magic. Our city is full of incredible front-of-house heroes making every dining experience memorable. Now it’s time they got the spotlight they deserve.
The Top 100 Sommeliers NZ 2025 nominations are open — and we want to show Auckland how it’s done. You don’t need formal credentials — if you’re part of the Front of House team serving beverages (think wine, cocktails, pairings, bartending or leading service), you’re eligible.
